I used to have a favorite one, made with mango but recently they haven’t been having it. It’s the best, upon arrival, ask them for it first, then if they don’t have, try the strawberry smoothies. Then if they don’t have that too, ask for the pina colada I’m not sure that spelling is correct but we’re not in an English class so moving on yh ask them for that one, that’s nice too. I’m not particularly sure of their Chapman, not a fan of it, it’s great though, but I prefer the more exotic stuff. The chicken is quite dry so I’d advice you go for the fish on your food. Sometimes I just go there to sit in the open and take in the cool breeze. It’s a really nice place to be, and there’s only one way to find out
I have been there three times and surprised it's only 6 reviews. The chrysalis restaurants share the blue hues, long time order service and wrong information on the menu in common. Other than that, it's a very beautiful restaurant and I always look forward to their chicken, spring rolls and samosa. Meals are adequately prepared and I would give them an above average although I haven't quite placed their spaghetti yet because it tastes different every time. Their cafe menu (desserts) is awesome, haven't brought myself to order coffee yet. The service yet again is superb, I also like the idea of interchanging staff so they don't get used to a particular environment. Although recently, their services takes longer than usual and it’s annoying really!.... I wonder why that is. The last platter I ordered wasn’t as good as one would expect which is sad because I recommended the restaurant to my colleagues.
Calm ambience and a relatively good customer service. A nice place for a date night. Their prices are decent.
The set up of Cabana's chrysalis was quite nice and the waitress that attend to me was very pleasant. However, I did find it a bit off-putting that the prices in the menu didn't correlate with the prices in their system. Overall, it was a rather pleasant experience and you don't have to wait too long to get your food
After driving round Bodija for an hour on a Friday night, looking for a place that isn't drowned in loud music, I casually went to Ventura mall and bam! I stumbled on Chrysalis, lovely interior (although there was food dirt underneath the table I sat, apparently they didn't clean up after the last person). They also have a back extension that was even more amazing, I ended up sitting at that back exterior for almost two hours. Lovely atmosphere. I had the orange chicken which was really nice, except that the orange sauce was a little too strong for me, but it was pretty nice to eat anyhow.
