Shining Mountain Cafe - Ignacio

We were here for a work-related party event and it was a great time! The rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were spacious and there was a walk in the shower and a bathtub! The pool was great, but it is only 3.5 feet deep throughout the pool. It would be great for our children! The casino was beautiful and looked like there were some ways to play. The food we received at our party was great, but we did not visit the bar later to try something else. I would definitely return.

Clean rooms! Great pool and hot tub! I'd give a 5 star if our toilet handle wasn't broken when we were in our room. We took care of it because you were booked out the night we were there and wanted to be near our friends. We really enjoyed each other. The staff was also good for us!

We had an excellent time here Super Bowl Sunday. Nice casino. Everyone who works there was super nice. The slot machines were paid. I won a $50 sign. The food was excellent. I definitely go back.

Very enjoyed our stay at Sky Ute. The room was 5 stars! Very clean and quiet. The service at the reception was efficient and friendly. I have to convince the lady in the coffee shop that she was so nice and patient. A great latte. We'll stay here when we get back to the Durango area.

Great place to stay- has both a campground and rooms. I did not stay in the hotel, but my friends were very impressed with the rooms. The campground has full hookups and is very clean with a friendly camp host- each site is supplied with a cement pad (mostly level) , a picnic table (it is not moveable), and a charcoal grill. The camping area is a short walk to the pool, laundry and bathrooms- only 1 shower but it is not really designed to be a “bathhouse”. Nice pool- it is indoors and you can tell it is a bit older. All the staff is extremely helpful and friendly- there is a little shortage of workers, but those there were very friendly. The casino was a lot of fun, didn’t win- but gave it a good effort. I will be returning next year!
