Brunch is always good but the coffee is always weak . Eating out anywhere in Iqaluit is an expensive experience and The Discovery is no exception.

We started with two appetizers: the Tiger Shrimp and Fried Calamari. While the shrimp were more like cubed bites than actual tiger shrimp, they were delicious, and the sauce was so good that we ended up using it for the calamari. I found the calamari to be perfectly cooked, but I thought the batter was a bit on the thick side for my liking. For our main courses, everything was spot on. I had the New York cut steak, accompanied by a generously sized baked potato and vegetables. The presentation was flawless, and the taste was fantastic. My wife ordered the leg of lamb, which came with a house salad. Our guests chose the Arctic Char pasta and Chicken Parmesan, and everyone loved their meals. I even noticed some Jean Leloup music playing in the background, which was a nice touch. Overall, you truly get what you pay for, and I left feeling completely satisfied.
