The Granite Room - Iqaluit

The food here is excellent, but the prices...well, they reflect the fact that it's Iqaluit. Despite that, I had a wonderful dining experience overall. Just be prepared to spend around $60 for a main course at dinner.

I spent nearly $60 on brunch, including the tip. They didn't have cookies available and the gravy was missing (it usually comes without mushrooms) for the very dry, tough roast beef. Also, they served the cheese in large chunks this time!

The Granite Room is a great example of fine dining in Iqaluit. If you are looking for a glamorous night in this small northern town look no further.
