Maple Creek - Iron Mountain

I have frequented this restaurant many times over the last 3 years, and the service and food get worse with each visit, and the prices just keep going up. Whenever my kids ask for crayons (which they shouldn't have to if the customer service was worth anything) the waitresses always seem annoyed by the request. As if the few extra steps are putting them out for the rest of the day. To top off the poor service, bad food, and outrageous prices, you now have to wait in their gift shop to pay for your meal. The waitresses refuse to process your bill from the table. This wouldn't be a huge deal as I enjoy the gift shop, but it's very inconvenient to juggle two small children while I wait for someone to notice me standing there. I will not step foot in this place again until I hear that they have improved. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area that will treat me and my family well, serve good food, and have great prices. They will receive my money first.

Poor service, waited 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order. Server took people's orders that came in after us, first. We had to even ask to be served. They offered a breakfast buffet until noon, but would not refill the empty food bins. 2 people from our group already had paid for the buffet, they wouldn't refill them until we talked to a manager.

It was a spacious restaurant, and I really appreciated the way the tables were set up. The food was served hot, and the fries were delicious. The waitress was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait long at all.

I absolutely loved the garden salad. I've tried a lot of salads, but this one really stood out for me. It included broccoli, mushrooms, green beans, and bell peppers. The staff was cheerful and accommodating, even when I asked to omit the tomatoes. We received excellent service from Jacqueline, and it was great to see the team working together so well.

I took a look around and noticed a clean kitchen as well as a pleasantly tidy restroom. The menu offers a great variety, and they focus on using fresh ingredients. I was really impressed and would happily recommend this place to others. There are plenty of options, even for vegetarians, and the portion sizes are reasonable. Overall, the food was better than typical diner fare—definitely a safe choice! Thank you, Maple Creek!
