It's wonderful to get to experience the creations of someone who cares so much about what he does. Gerardo has owned a number of restaurants in the states and abroad before settling in Island Pond. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place more!
This is one of my favorite places to go- anywhere! The food is outstanding and the Italian family that owns the place couldn’t be nicer. I look forward to eating here every time I’m in the NEK and it’s never disappointed me. I’ve probably eaten half the menu too, so this is a very fair review. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. Gerardo might say something in Italian that you won't understand, but you will know true Italian cuisine by the time you leave. I don't know any other place in Vermont that is better or more true to the culture. Tell him Calvin sent you. You won't get a discount, but you may get a chuckle out of Gerardo. Service: Dine in
Very good food. Very good typical Italian food. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Very good Italian foodordered ravioli stuffed w/spinach mushrooms, along with chicken marsala. Food was hot, balanced with herbs and seasonings to make for a pleasant meal. Owner/chef is a former restaurant owner in Boston’s North End (Italian section) and his cooking is as good as any of Boston’s best Italian restaurants! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
