La Hueca - Jackson Heights

Not a pleasant place. Service not good either. For the price charged for food is not worthwhile. Not going anymore.

It's a nice place, it's neat.. The waitress are kind and helpful .. I ordered a Bandera.. It comes with 4 meat choices and great and tender.. At the beginning it seem that I won't be enough but it was plenty I got satisfied by flavor and portion size.. The traditional Quaker I got good flavor a little bit to heavy I liked more for refreshment like more watery haha so I solve it asking a cup with ice..

The drinks were serve fast, however the food took 40 to be served, they serve us the appetizers along with the main course at the same time. The table in front of us were served right away, I asked to speak to the manager and he had no excuse. I lost my appetite, will take the food to go at this point, too angry to eat.

I had chaulafan and Arroz con pollo. Both of them weren 't that great, or maybe I was just expecting more since it was manabita and haven 't been in an Ecuadorian restaurant in the past 3 years since I moved from NY. Staff was very friendly and place was nice and clean. If I were to go again I would try something else.

Had a wonderful experience with my family from North Carolina, they loved it as well. Food was just like my moms used to make. She is no longer with us. So it was a whole wonderful appreciation for their cooking! We had six separate dishes and each one was delicious ????
