It is located in a basement and since we didn't have a reservation, we waited 20 minutes (no more, no less) before being seated. It's a very large establishment with compartments and private rooms for group dinners or couples. A waiter leads you through a pathway of slate stones to your designated area. You leave your shoes at the door and enter. We were seated in a Japanese-French inspired space with a chandelier casting a soft and suggestive light, a very comfortable sofa, and a corner table with a smiling Buddha statue. The food was excellent, the service very good even though it was crowded (you summon the waiter with an electronic button on the table), and above all, the uniqueness of the place. It's not very expensive for Tokyo (around €25 per person with beer).
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on a side street near Shibuya 109. Located in a basement, we waited exactly 20 minutes before being seated without a reservation. The restaurant is spacious and offers private compartments for group or couple dinners. A waiter guides you to your reserved table marked by a slate. Leave your shoes at the door and enter a French-Japanese-themed space with a spider lamp casting a romantic glow, a comfy sofa, and a unique hive-shaped table with a smiling pudding. Despite being full, the food was delicious and served promptly (you can call the waiter with an electronic ring on the table). The prices are reasonable for Tokyo, at approximately €25 per person with a beer.
