They have converted an old school house into a place for seasonal retreats. I stayed at their pension for one night and enjoyed a delicious vegan breakfast of pancakes and smoothies. When it came time to pay, the owner was short on change so I was given a generous bag of tomatoes and a delicious melon grown by Minori's father, who is a melon farmer with his own unique variety. Minori was an exceptional host, making me feel relaxed and at home. The atmosphere was family-friendly, with their daughter joining in on the morning activities. Everyone spoke fluent English, and we had interesting conversations about veganism. The comfortable bedroom allowed for a good night's sleep. The locally sourced food felt fresh and we had plenty to eat. The beautiful building provided a true retreat-like atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!
