What a charming little restaurant, just a couple of miles off Route 95 in Jarrett, VA! The food was amazing, and the people were incredibly friendly. Pete, who is Britt's brother, greeted us with warm, personalized service and a great smile. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re passing through the area!

Just past Emporia and a plethora of predictable and pathetic fast food options, lies Britt's. Just a mile off the Interstate, it is well worth the detour. The pandemic has left Britt's with a desolate dining room when we stopped in for a late lunch. Our server Dejean, was incredibly friendly. The daily special of pork chop and catfish were both delicious...made to order, so piping HOT. The collard greens were tasty and Mac and cheese was homemade and very good. The sweet tea was beyond sweet, but we are in the South, no? The restrooms were exceedingly clean. Looking for family-owned and down to earth soul food, Britt's is your place.
