Zachry's Riverhouse - JEKYLL ISLAND

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The bar staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the slightly baked fried dolphin sandwich, which only took about two minutes to arrive. It paired perfectly with the fries. I enjoyed a great IPA and an even better double IPA on tap. The ambiance was beautiful, and I even picked up a cool t-shirt. Overall, a fantastic visit!

I enjoyed my meal of shrimp and grits; it was quite good. However, my husband ordered the fried oysters, and his experience wasn't as positive. A few of the oysters had a strange taste, and he ended up only enjoying one out of the four he tried. After a while, he decided to stop eating them. The waitress even asked if he wanted a box to take them home, but we explained our concerns about the taste. In the end, we appreciated that she removed his meal from the bill.

We stumbled upon a fantastic find on the island! Since our first choice was closed for renovations, we decided to try Zachary Riverhouse, the next place on our list. Our waitress, Connor, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The fresh catch of the day was flounder, which we cooked to perfection. The outdoor seating added to the lovely atmosphere, and the selection of adult beverages was a nice touch. With friendly staff, delicious food, and excellent service, this place comes highly recommended!

Had Zachary on our last day on Jekyll Island, food was good fresh and delicious. Then the staff was friendly and accommodating. Had a really cool dog hanging on the veranda called Jack, I think he's a local because everyone seemed to know him with name. I had the fried shrimps and oyster plate with cheese sauces (real cheese sauce not thrown with cheese) and Lima beans. It was a very pleasant experience.

Small, cozy restaurant. We waited a little for a table. The food service were worth the wait. Jillian S was great. Thank you for providing a delicious lunch.
