Upene - Jelgava

The fondant and cake of the day were superb! The desserts were plated beautifully, the fondant wasn't overcooked, there were cranberry and mango puree to tone down the sweetness of fondant which was a clever move. We ordered 2 desserts and 2 cappuccinos for everything we paid 14€. The prices were cheap in my opinion, because for the quality of their desserts I would pay definitely more.

Well, their amazing average rating speaks for itself and deservedly so. Food was really good perfectly prepared meat, nicely balanced sides and there is almost too much of it. Staff was very professional and sort of understated, like their interior. Which is the way I personally prefer it. So if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience (that also won't blow your wallet) this place is a great choice.

Nice small and cozy cafe where to have fresh well cooked food in a calm corner of Iecava. However, the best thing of all for me was the attentive English speaking staff.

This was really a surprise finding! Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, restaurant quality food. Good prices also. Location is also excellent!
