I went at 1:30 on a very cold day and was too late for soup, and they were made of onion rings and baked mushrooms. I went for pastrami and it wasn't disappointing. The bread was fresh and soft. I like to support the local business, but I have to say that Jason's Deli serves a really stacked high pastrami that beats Sharp's.
Better than mid-city? Hardly. Undermining, least to say. Small meat on the sandwich, burned chips, lack of Luster performance.
I like the food here, but it's more like a student hangout. Servers just sit outside and chill while everyone else works inside. Eating is great service could really use some work.
The food was pretty good. The place is dark smokey and the staff just stood around most of the time. Would tell my friends to drive up the street
Anna Sharp, the owner, is wonderful to work with for catering, and there's no better value in town for ordering boxed lunches. I am obsessed with Sharp's Deli. Nearly everything is house-prepared! The pickles and potato chips are out of this world and food is always made-to-order. The sandwiches are inventive and delicious. Salads are HUGE and so tasty. Keep up the great work, gang!
