Silver Mist Country Inn - Kaapsehoop

The old Waenhuis is another excellent B B in Kaapschehoop, its easy to find simply drive along the so called main street and its on the corner.

They are closed until December 31st. Food: 1/5, Service: 1/5, Atmosphere: 1/5.

On December 29, 2019, the breakfast was poorly prepared, and it took a long time to serve our party of six. The soup of the day was simply a packet of soup and cost R48. The roosterbrood wasn't fresh either. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

The service at this restaurant is painfully slow. On a Sunday morning, there was just one chef and one waiter trying to handle eight tables, which is clearly too much for them. The lack of proper management results in a frustrating experience. I can't recommend this place for breakfast at all.

The restaurant serves classic dishes including pap en kaings, pancakes with a variety of fillings, and plenty more.
