What a great spot for breakfast with the family. delicious eggs benedict, excellent plating and presentation, and great staff as well! they have plenty of gluten free goodies as well

Best food and best service in Kaiapoi. Staff also hace keen sebse of humour that makes a difference. Owner should be proud

Went to Red Eight for a coffee date, it was the first time I'd sat inside and had food as opposed to grabbing a takeaway hot chocolate (because they definitely have the best hot chocolate in Kaiapoi! The staff was really nice and it was very clean, the decor was very trendy and would be a cute insta spot if you're into that kinda thing. We ordered the pancakes. They were absolutely amazing! We would highly recommend and are definitely coming back!

Cute wee café run by people who obviously have a passion for what they do. I loved that they provided hot water with the pot of tea, and used high quality leaves. Really attractive cabinet food. This café screams high quality but is incredibly understated. I might have found my new breakfast go-to place. The only thing that would have improved the atmosphere would be a little background music. Bach maybe, or Beatles?
