Shawarma Prince - Kanata

Food is great. Lots of choices. Variety of family platter met my expectations. A return visit will be made in near future

Did not enjoy Shawarma Prince in Kanata. Very soggy food and the staff was not friendly. Also terrible service

We have ordered from Shwarma Prince in Kanata a few times, food is always delicious and plentiful. But the staff is what makes this place exceptional. Our latest order from this location was a family platter. After getting the food home, I had one of those slow motion moments where one of the food trays detached from my hands and we had a platter covering the porch. Ran back to the store, red with embarrassment, to purchase a meat platter replacement. And we received a big gesture of generosity. An act of genuine kindness. More than friendly here, they really respect customers, and that act of kindness will not be forgotten.

I've had better shwarma closer to the city center but this is a good place if the craving hits you while in the western (Kanata) burbs. The staff is friendly and quality is consistent. I prefer the chicken Shwarma and they have a pretty deal for a family platter. Make sure you have the garlic sauce.

We have tried many shawarma eateries in Ottawa over the years, and none of them compare to this one for quality. The chicken is never dry or fatty, their homemade garlic sauce and hummus are thick and rich, and their salads and vegetables are always fresh. Get the chicken shawarma take-out plate and it is enough for two people. Really friendly and nice staff. Love this place!
