Perkins Bakery - Kearney

Food was spot on. Large servings. Great service they were a little slow getting food out, but they were also very busy. I had the grilled Cajun fish and asparagus. My friend had a ginormous blueberry muffin.

Typical Perkins atmosphere, clean, friendly, usual menu. When we arrived, it was fairly busy however only one waitress on floor. Hostess and possible manager assisted a little, but greatly understaffed. As we were finishing our meal, another wait person did come on the floor. Three servers wouldn't have been too much for this time period. We were not neglected, but felt bad that we had to ask the waitress for something.

We appreciated the staff letting us know it would be 45 min or more till we got served. They had ONE cook a huge party of 30 ahead of us. We went somewhere else for that meal, but made sure we ate there for other ones!

Never had a bad experience until today. Expected a wait because it was mother's day. Did not expect to wait 30 minutes for our server to take our order. Then another 15 before he remembered to put it in. currently still waiting for food and we have been sitting at our table a full hour. Yep. Won't be back anytime soon

Jessica was our server, and she was friendly and professional. Our food was delicious and not greasy, which was a nice change from our recent experiences at other restaurants. We received a generous portion of food and left with smiles, excited for the next part of our holiday. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!
