The worst McDonald’s I have ever visited. The food was disgusting and as for the service and professionalism...it was pathetic and an absolute embarrassment. Watching the way the food was made for a start was enough to make you cringe, and during a pandemic friends...of staff leaning all over the front counter playing ignorance with actual paying customers.
Staff are professional. Suggest carrying some cash to pay for food because when they had a blackout recently two staff members were standing at the entrance and turning people away because they could not serve them. Apart from that, service has been quick, food hot...and to usual McDonald standard. This McDonalds outlet is far better run and organised than the one at the service centre.
We are all familiar with KFC, but did you know that McDonald's also offers sliders? McDonald's version of a slider includes a patty that is placed on the burger with half of it hanging off the side. The workers then assemble the rest of the burger, creating a towering stack reminiscent of a Big Mac. However, the addition of too much special sauce can result in a messy experience, with the burger's contents sliding out onto your lap.
I had almost given up on McDonald's due to consistently terrible service at some Sydney locations, especially Gladesville. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service I received at the Kempsey McDonald's. The staff there made sure my burgers and fries were actually placed in the bag, a simple step that seems to be overlooked at other locations in Sydney. Not only that, but the burgers were fully assembled, the fries were generously filled to the top of the container, and everything was served hot. I want to commend the Kempsey McDonald's staff and management for their great work. I even suggest that McDonald's send the Gladesville staff to Kempsey for some training on how to properly serve meals. It would be a worthwhile investment. Additionally, I returned for breakfast the next morning and it was fantastic.
