Great atmosphere, awesome service and delicious food. Cauliflower and cod were great choices. Olive oil cake and salted caramel gelato were the perfect ending with coffee. We Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Terrible service. We went on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. There were plenty of severs around but none seemed to be paying attention to the guests. We spent a prolonged period of time waiting to place an order (20+ , requested beverages that were on the bill that we never actually received and spent even longer trying to pay (we asked multiple people for our check and waited nearly 30 minutes for it before we just went to the hostess for help . The setting has a lot of potential but the service was some of the worst I’ve encountered, and it takes a lot for me to say that having been in industry myself. Hope they can turn it around. This was our second time here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cuisine is delicious and inventive, as were the cocktails. We also ordered an excellent bottle of wine with the help of the very knowledgeable sommelier. The art exhibits along the hallways on the lower two floors were well worth the time.

We love the idea of Cedar Elm, we've come often for dinner, brunch, and high tea but it would be terrific if either (1) the menu changed a bit more frequently or (2) the menu expanded somewhat. And, dessert should have a chocolate element.
