Blind Piper - Killarney

During our lunch stop, we had a pleasant meal at this restaurant. We received a warm welcome with our dog outdoors, and there were plenty of water bowls available for him.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is exceptionally friendly. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of delicious fish dishes. It's original and incredibly cozy.

We dined at the Fairytale restaurant for lunch on a lovely sunny Saturday, bringing our dog along to enjoy the garden seating. Although the lunch menu was limited, we all found delicious options to enjoy. I opted for the seafood gratin, which featured a fantastic, flavorful sauce and plenty of seafood; the fish was cooked to perfection. My son chose the burger and claimed it was one of the best he's ever tasted. However, my BLT on sourdough fell short, as the salad was soggy and the bacon lacked crispness. We also had a glass of wine and a good Guinness. Despite a sign indicating that food wasn’t served in the garden, we were pleasantly accommodated there with warm smiles, and our dog even received a little affection from the staff. The employees were wonderful. The restroom was clean and thoughtfully decorated, while the bar exuded a genuine Irish pub vibe—ideal for enjoying a pint by the fire during winter evenings. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we wholeheartedly recommend visiting this restaurant.

During our vacation, we chose to have lunch at a charming restaurant nestled in a beautiful garden, complete with swings and railings for children. The interior captured the essence of a typical Irish pub, featuring a warm and inviting fire. We enjoyed a tranquil meal in a lovely atmosphere. The fish chowder was delightful, and the pil pil was very flavorful as well. However, we were let down by the small portion sizes and the overpriced garnishes. While we don’t mind spending on quality food, we felt the prices were marked up to take advantage of tourists in the village. This wasn't our first encounter with the high prices at this place, which is disappointing because we would otherwise gladly recommend it.

We stopped by for a late lunch and found the place to be quite busy, yet the staff was very efficient. We placed our orders for food and drinks, but unfortunately, after our drinks arrived, my partner became unwell and needed to be taken to a medical facility. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us in calling for assistance and providing us with sausages and snacks. They also packed our food to go. What we managed to eat was absolutely delicious. If circumstances had been different, we would have thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I can't recommend this place enough.
