Church's Texas Chicken - Killeen

I have always thought that the taste of the church is great and a few other chicken almost food beats.

The cashier took our order and forgot the gravy, so my partner had to go back to request the gravy he had ordered.

It's a pretty decent place. The wait for the food was a bit long during my visit, and the speaker they used for the menu presentation was very old and hard to understand. However, the food was good, and they've always gotten my order correct while maintaining a professional attitude.

We decided to give this place another try due to some recent changes, despite having had some bad experiences in the past. My partner and I ordered the two-piece special, which comes with a biscuit and a cookie, but they didn’t have the cookie and failed to inform us. I was quite disappointed since that’s usually the first thing I enjoy. After I brought this to their attention, the cashier offered us a pepper instead, which was the same price. The chicken itself was just warm, as if it had already been boiled earlier. Despite this, I might return to the Ft. Hood location or the Stan School stand since they’re newer.

The staff here were amazing with a great sense of humor but they're completely understaffed you can tell they need to hire more help food was okay given they only had a couple of people working must be really hard on them
