Catfish Platter - Kingston

The catfish is good at this place right north of the bridge of Texas. And a lot of people are passing this Welsplatz on the Texas side to come here. The fries are okay. The prices are high. The fillets are cut in half and one order and are calculated by the number of pieces. A 9-part dinner is 4.5 fillets. Also on the menu are whole fish. Service is very good. Decor is funny nautical theme (what else in a place that serves the fresh from the sea cat) and you will see at least five or six ol' guys who look like they are in the Easy Rider Café scene (I'm still not sure if I will make the parish line).

I love the catfish and teers sauce. I don't like tarter sauce from anywhere else.

Great food atmosphere. We drive over an hour from Texas and eat here almost every weekend. It is family owned and operated. The food is great. You have the best catfish. If you don't like catfish, they also have the best chicken fried steak and chicken teeth. It's worth it.

Catch plate. Really? the ride not worth? in guessing your tasty r a little. That's the best catfish I've ever had. the Hushpuppies are to die for and the beans, Coleslaw and this tart sauce! It is also worth it if the drive is 2 hours. long. really I promise it's wonderful! You don't get small pieces of fish... You get big ole fleshy planks- if you have never tried, please do yourself a favor and go! you will love it!

Catfish Platter Review.... Excellent place to eat even if you have to drive for awhile it's worth it they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday and close in December. Fantastic catfish, really great hushpuppies they serve in a bowl while you wait for your order...mmm...getting hungry thinking about it!! This a great place to take the whole family good ole' southern hospitality and great family atmosphere.
