Royal Oak - Kingston-upon-Hull

I recently hosted a family baptism at Oak, and Luke and his team did an outstanding job taking care of us. We had 50 guests, including 2 people with gluten allergies and 10 children, and everything went smoothly. A huge thank you to Luke, and a special shoutout to Sue and Laura, who worked incredibly hard to ensure everyone was well-fed and looked after. I highly recommend this friendly place!

The pizzas here are fantastic and definitely worth trying—these aren't your average pepper sauce or ham and pineapple varieties, but instead feature delicious options like chorizo and Parma ham. The portions of chips are enormous too. While there are a limited number of other dishes, there are also daily specials. It's a lovely pub that’s well worth a visit!

My baked pizza and garlic bread were absolutely delicious. The portion size for the fish and chips was huge. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well, with nice, generous portions at a great price. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back soon!
