When I asked if they are egg noodles, they said yes again, so not vegan. at the end ordered vegan nasi goreng and vegetable spring rolls. while I ate the spring rolls, I found a big piece of chicken in them. when I tried to explain this to the person in the restaurant, he was not really interested and played a game on his phone while I talked to him. to be fair, he finally agreed after 5 minutes of the foundation that we did not have to pay for the chicken spring rolls because I could not eat them. overall it was a really bad experience and I would not recommend going there as a vegan.
They play reggae music and have a lot of characters with funny citats and hammocks. I liked the sitting area with white sand. the nasi goreng was ok, the gado gado was better with a lot of delicious erdnuss sauce, tofu and tempeh.
We had dinner, the early roll are delicious / chips were ok / tempe nasi goreng was nice I am not a huge tempe fan, so it was just ok, as it is not my favorite in general. the staff were friendly and nice very affordable prices and decent portions. they are happy to hire yogurt for smoothies. overall pleasant
Similar to another assessment here I found that the personal was pleased to make the Nasi goreng with attempt instead of doing the hurdle and leaving the ice, and they also made a smoothie shell without yogurt for me! Not to mention, the portion of the test is so generous and it was actually the best tempe I tried over my entire trip to Indonesia!
There aren't many options for restaurants serving vegan food on this side of the island. This lovely family run restaurant has nice and cosy sitting area. The chef was happy to adapt the dishes for us on our request. The nasi goreng was delicious, but the tempeh goreng was even better! The tempeh is not (yet) mentioned on the menu, so ask for it.
