Couldn’t resist yourself from not wanting more. <br/ <br/ Butter chicken: on an average a decent butter chicken <br/ <br/ Surmai tawa fry masala: dissatisfied, as the gravy wasn’t at all up to the mark. Tasted v weird. <br/ Fish quality was good, gravy wasn’t. <br/ <br/ Neer dosa: fluffly soft and amazing<br/ <br/ Quantity: 4/5<br/ Quality: 5/5<br/ Pricing: 3/5 <br/ <br/ A bit on costlier side. <br/ Overall a decent experience.
Located in Fort this place serves the best seafood<br/ The ambience is nice with dim lights and the food is worth the cost.<br/ We ordered<br/ Pomfret tawa fry-₹1300<br/ The fish was nice and juicy with a perfect blend of their typical fish masala<br/ Prawns gassi-₹380<br/ with a slight taste of coconut and prawn curry it was yum and taste better with neer dosa<br/ Prawn dum biryani-₹400<br/ Fish dum biryani-₹400<br/ The biryanis were loaded with spices less oil and the quantity is sufficient for 2 persons<br/ Overall a must try if you crave for seafood.<br/
This cool seafood restaurant was my Mumbaikar cousin's recommendation. There were live crab and a great assortment of seafood here.<br/ <br/ We chose one of the large crabs, and were asked to try it cooked in an Indian coastal gravy, and I feel butter garlic would have suited it better. Our shrimp dish was amazed and served in ExcellenSEA sauce I'd definitely recommend it. Neer dosa was an interesting accompaniment, kind of like a really soft and thin dosa.
We were here for the Bombil Fry, and it did not disappoint! This was our first time trying this fish, one side recommending that fish while others discouraged us from trying it. We actually liked it! The flesh of Bombil is extremely delicate, so kudos to the chef 's for frying them in a sturdy breading to keep them in one piece. The fish is not 'fishy ' at all, or and not strong tasting, there were a briny flavour to the fish that 's delectable and fresh-tasting.<br/ <br/ We also had the house-specialty prawns, which was nice. I also ordered Vegetable Dum Briyani, which was quite good and I was happy with the amount of vegetables in it!<br/ <br/ My friend, who aren 't a fan of seafood and further scared off by the negative opinions on Bombil, ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan.<br/ <br/ Chicken Tikka Masala was very nice and juicy, with a delicately nutty and lemon-y marinade. The Garlic Naan, however, was overcooked to a hard cracker which made eating somewhat difficult.<br/ <br/ We ended up sharing our dishes, including the Bombil Fry (Taste-tested by yours truly first). We were also provided with warm lemon water in small metal bowls to wipe out hands clean after the meal (and the ubiquitous aniseed and sugar palate cleanser).<br/ <br/ We were seated on the second floor, which is set up like a lounge bar, with the dimly lit rooms and leather chairs and sofas. It 's not a setup aimed for younger diners, but the food is good and the service is quite thorough.
As the name suggests this is a seafood speciality restaurant. Really Good food nice staff. Highly recommends for non veg lovers.............
