Kyoto Takabashi Horahora Menu

This place is great. although not big, it creates a cozy and warm feeling, and the owner is very nice, friendly and welcoming. we ordered a couple of dishes and different alcohols. the non-fishing dishes were not bad (sauge and karagge,) but their real highlights are fish dishes. Sashimi-Platter, tintenfisch ajiho and the grill fish were heavenly delicious. the owner was thoughtful and placed Japanese and English labels for each sashimi and willing what was very convenient for non-Japanese speakers. we liked this place very and would recommend it to every visitor in kyoto. the only thing you need to note is that the English menu is a little limited, as they have more than on the menu. also it seems like a family-run business, so its schedule is not an uncomplicated “closing every Tuesday” type. However, they can check their schedule for the whole month in the load.
