Moritaya Kiyamachi - Kyoto

We chose the ¥5800 midset of sukiyaki, which was absolutely delicious! Not only do you have your own private room with magnificent views of the garden, but they also cook the food right in front of you in a kimono. A wonderful, soothing atmosphere with delicious food and very few people on a weekday meal. I definitely want to come back. This restaurant has a few places and it was launched in 1896!

Fantastic place for Sukiyaki. The staff is very friendly and they try to help in English as well. The foods are costly, but appropriately considered the quality. It is possible to eat traditionally on Tatami in separate subjects. Excellent experience.

I had the best Sukiyaki of my life here, the food, the staff, the place, all right. Amazing experience. Worth the price.

Their lunch sets are quite expensive but they taste really good. You even have a nice view of kamo river. The service is also excellent. You may also help yourself to unlimited serving of rice. Most of all, the wagyu steak was so tender and tasted so good.

Do not be fooled by the number of discs. It is very fillable.
