Pizza Salvatore Cuomo Grill Kyoto

This is a strong 3.5 stars so I’ll round up. A chain which is decent, just decent. This pizza place is in a great spot in Sanjo on the creek with outdoor seating. The lunch buffet is very reasonable and there is often a line. Their pizza, like other pizza and then some, is delicious when hot and much less so when cooler. You kind of have to stalk the hot pizza at the buffet to enjoy your lunch. Dinner with a pizza served fresh to your table is good. The menu is extensive from traditional to Bismarck and the rest. This is one of of the best locations of the chain. Make a reservation for dinner and eat that pizza hot folks.

I came here 6 years ago and decided to come back again, as I recall it being incredibly delicious— and it was, but is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? Not so sure. It’s good, for sure come check it out. The average person will love it, the picky foodies who think they’re food critics (like myself will be like..”It’s alright pizza. It’s good”. Not blown away but not disappointed. Could have had chili flakes and salt on the table or even fresh pepper to crack. Could have had chili olive oil as well or even some black olive dip as a complimentary snack, or even some freshly baked focaccia bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Was it worth the approximate 25$? Meh. No it wasn’t. I’ve had much better for much less. But was it good pizza? It was good pizza.

What a wonderful place for lunch “all you can eat buffet” canal near Kamo River. Many selections that choose with sorted pizzas to deep roast chickens to fresh vegetables! In addition, it has the great view with limpid current through the channel. It was simply relaxing and eating light lunch with a cup of black tea and coffee. Unfortunately there were not many choices of desserts! But surely will come back next visit to Kyoto.

Pizzaria all you can eat with a salad, drink and dessert bar. All the staffs are gentle in a cozy atmosphere.

Excellent Italian food, pizza as good as you get in Napoli! And if you can get a seat outside beside the streaming water with cranes regally parading by, we’ll, you know your in travel heaven.
