The Roblero Pit - La Quinta

Dinner tonight included beef brisket, broccoli and Mac cheese and I had mixed feelings. The brisket was smokey and very delicate. Half the pound was a lot. The sauce was disappointing. Instead of being sour without any other distinctive character. A mixture of Carolina and KC, but not the best of both. I prefer a selection of sauces like a mustard sauce, a sweet, mild, a hot and a traditional KC. There was only one sauce and it was on the meat when it was served, but the meat was well covered, even between slices. The broccoli was perfectly boiled, crunchy, but not hard and undercooked. The Mac cheese was a real disappointment. The sauce was thin, salty and bland. It lacked a real character. Force from a box would have been better. Service was a little slow, but never annoying. Our server was very pleasant and did not react perfectly to everything we said. I'll take this through a faster server every day. I tried better than a lot of barbecues, but nothing special. And they really need to fix the Mac case!

A great new find in the area! We found this place on YELP and wanted to support a new local business. The brisket and ribs were both tender. The shrimp appetizer was very flavorful. It has a salad on the side and the dressing on the salad was delicious! Tonight was karaoke night when we 1st arrived, several people were up and performing. Locals, visitors, all ages were enjoying their dinner and spirits. Karoke wrapped up by 7:15 p.m. so a big group cleared out after that. The remainder of our meal was quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. The chef/owner is very friendly and looking to create a delicious menu with a variety of options. Stop in and give it a try!

I must say, this restaurant is fantastic! It's somewhat tucked away, but absolutely worth the effort to find. We're planning to bring our meals and daughter into town for our next visit. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, and the flavors are incredible. I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

We ordered the brisket, which was served with a generous salad and two sides. The brisket was tender, and both the salad and sides were of excellent quality. Overall, it was a wonderful meal. My only suggestion would be to offer more BBQ sauce, as the small container provided was not enough.

The food and service were exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a wonderful lunch or dinner. The Roblero Pit is a fantastic restaurant, perfect for enjoying a relaxing and pleasant evening.
