Harlin's Place - Lake Ariel

My husband and I have been coming here for years! The wings, pernil and murphys law are our favorites! Margie and Greg are fantastic hosts and always very welcoming! I recommend the food over any NEPA restaurant! Very dog friendly too with Lake Genero right next to it and a big field behind. You can never go wrong with anything you order, the only thing better then the food is the customer service from Margie and Greg! Hope you all have as good as an experience as we do every year! Best And only PR Specialties in Area. Love the pernil and arroz con gandules with olives. The chicken burger and cheesesteak are stellar and how doesn't love fries that remind you of the Jersey boardwalks. Happy to say we live in the area and have frequented Greg and Margie's place since day 1 four years ago. Love it!

GO HERE !!!!!!!!!. Harlin's has the most scrumptous delicious food !!! What great variety. Everything is great !! They have the best gyro in town ! Try their spanish rice ,grandules and pernil... The food, and people (A+ . I will leave most of the hype about the food alone, although it is all true. My family and I were staying in the Poconos for a little more than a week, and this was by far the best place to eat in the area no contest. Next time we go there I may try to beat the Pernil, and Fish Taco recipes out of Greg (yes, just kidding . If you are going to eat there, eat at the restaurant. If not, you will miss out on the other reason anyone should visit Harlins, the hospitality of the staff. Greg and his crew were extremely friendly, and made sure to treat my 2 boys (10, and 7 years old with kindness, and respect. For me the food could have been average, and I would still not miss the opportunity to go back next year. And Greg, if you're reading.....go ND!!
