Area 337 - Lake Charles

Very cool place with a great atmosphere. The outdoor seating space is extremely cool and quite welcoming. The food is amazing and authentic. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel like a longtime friend. I had the blondie arepa, chicken and beef empanadas, puerto rican rice and they were all delicious. I also got the 3 leches cake for dessert but I’m so stuffed that I have to wait to eat it. I’m sure it will be just as delicious. I will definitely be back as their menu is quite extensive and I’ll have to try some of the other items. The prices are also quite reasonable (not cheap) for the quality and portions you receive. I already want to go back and try other items on their menu!

We enjoyed lunch yesterday afternoon. Boss had the seafood gumbo and said the flavors were on point. I had the chicken stew. It was excellent. ?

I come from Atlanta for work, This is The best Restaurant of Lake Charles!!!!

This was our first visit and did so upon recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. Guillermo was our server and did a great job of explaining the menu and taking time to answer our questions. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the food and our time at Area 337. We will definitely be dining here again. I highly recommend giving Area 337 a try!!

Had the yucca balls (with beef) and the cubano.The food and service is OUTSTANDING. If you want truly authentic Latin food that is amazing, you have to try this place out!
