Captain's Table - Lake Charles

Great service and delicious food. Large parking lot. If you love seafood you will enjoy The Captain's Table.

We have given this restaurant so many tries!!! Love the oyster choices but more times they were off than good! Service sucks 90% of the time and they aren't crowded when this happens. The prices are higher than alot of others! Shame they can't get their stuff together!

Not the best experience tonight. Get ther a little before 7, sit down and not one server looked our way. Another couple came in after us and within 5 minutes had their order taken. I get the servers attention to get us our server and she said ok, still no one came so we waited longer. All this time no drinks or silverware. My husband got up and approached one of the servers and asked if we could get service and still nothing. Finally the sweet bartender Brittany came with a napkin and took our orders. She waited on us and did the best she could all night. She was great, she was the only one to help us all night. So after over an hour later she was able to bring us our food, which was not very hot, and unfortunately my son had a hair in his side dish. Just a shame the servers never even looked our way. But we will be back because all the other times we have gone there it had been great, just tonight was not one of them.

Oysters were great. The service was not very good. We were 1 of 4 tables at 5:15 ish.and we could never find our waitress. She was to busy with anything except getting to our table. We will remove this place from out list of restaurants to eat.
