Spin a Yarn Restaurant - Lamont

Had a celebratory lunch here on a weekday afternoon. For two people, we ordered the following Shrimp Louie Salad House Salad Fried Calamari Roasted Chicken Half (2 orders) Fried Zucchini French Fries Food was what you would expect in an American style restaurant. Presentation was not the best but I give credit for effort. The food lacked seasoning so we had to get creative to add salt, pepper and request for a bunch of side dipping sauces. Restaurant is big so can hold large crowds if any special events or occasions are celebrated here. Increasing my review .5 stars as our server was really attentive. She was in training and still learning the trade but her sincerity did not go unnoticed.

Totally overrated and overpriced. Service was very friendly and extremely attentive, but the food (ribeye steak with mashed potatoes veggie) was bland and overpriced we were disappointed. On a Friday evening of a holiday weekend, it wasn't busy. A nice surprise was the musician with a keyboard singing live to current hits oldies that I thoroughly enjoyed.

TWO VIAITS: Hubby wanted to go fro his birthday last week and this time we both got the steak sandwich, but hubby didn't add cheese this time. I brought some of mine home and enjoyed it leftover. They brought out a slice of cheesecake with candle on a decorated plate after the meal. We tried a bite and took it home (too full and it was so delish! THIS WEEK: That Mac and cheese is so good (cheese pull! BUT...Hubby loves fries so got some this time and said they we so good, plus, it was a big serving. We changed it up... 1 Hubby got chicken sandwich (and added cheese . It was HUGE.Plenty of chicken. He declared the sandwich FLAWLESS. 2 I got the French dip. I haven't had a decent one in ages, but I would declare my sandwich flawless too. I'm so glad I have leftovers! I stuck with the Mac n cheese

We were in Fremont, CA for business walked to this restaurant from our hotel. There were 7 of us no reservations, they were very kind and provided a table. Our server Elvia U. was AMAZING! She provided the best service we had seen since we got into town. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and did a great job promoted the special that evening our table ordered 3 of them! She and other servers for our table were all very kind and provided great service! We wish to thank everyone there that helped us enjoyed our evening with good food, fellowship and service!

My fault for not posting sooner, came here on a Tuesday night and reservation were made just the night before. It was one of my friend's late bday dinner and was our first time dining here. The parking lot gets full quick even for a Tuesday night. I was the first to arrive and the friends were stuck in traffic for a good 15 mins or so. They still seated me and gave me water. The dinning room was nice and cozy, lots of people enjoying dinner and drinks.The staff were also friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful time eating and drinking and never once felt rushed. We spent s good 2 hrs plus there and even received a complimentary dessert with our desserts when the waitress found out we were out celebrating a birthday. I also ordered the lamb racks to-go, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture but the husband enjoyed it. Super cute restaurant and I would love to come back and try something else.
