Stands at the side of the bar and just stares. Like incessantly. Usually has his arms crossed hovering over the bartenders. Like a bouncer ordered from Wish.
Tried a number of the beers and most were just ok. Had a hefeweizen that tasted good but not like a hefeweizen, more like a Belgian witte. Pizza was very good, pretzels were not. People in our group really enjoyed the salad. Not good that the water near us was not filled even after one of the workers stated she would fill it. Also, quasi salami crime .... tip should not be on the taxed amount.
My family and I were on our annual vacation and we happened upon this place. The food was amazing and the service was fast. Everyone was so nice. Stop here if you can!!
Love the atmosphere and outdoor seating at Salt Point. It's great to go to a brewery that has an expansive food menu. Tons of pizza, salad options, snacks, and specials. The special this day was a cuban sandwich. We opted for the cup and char pizza with that. Sandwich was a great. Slow cooked pork, fresh pickles. The pizza could have used one more minute to get a real char on the pepperoni but other than that, great sauce I got the hazy IPA and my boyfriend got the Citra. For being a Citra, it was a little dark. He didn't love his choice but I thought the Hazy was good. I'd like to try more of their beers because it's a great space and friendly staff.
No place I would rather spend a summer Friday night in Ithaca. I live up the road in Lansing and feel so lucky that this place is in my neighborhood. Tonight they were absolutely jammed with Cornell graduation weekend, but everyone from the bartender to the pizza chefs were friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere, tasty beer, and delicious food. Thank you, Salt Point, for creating this wonderful community space.
