Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Lexington

I had the worst experience with both the food and the service at this restaurant. They were out of many items on the menu, even something as simple as a baked potato. We waited forever for our food, and the waitress kept saying they couldn’t get the kitchen to prepare it. Once would have been enough, but I lost count after hearing that at least six times. The last two visits to Cheddar's were fantastic. We ordered the same dishes each time: the buffalo chicken bites with ranch and the chicken tenders with loaded baked potatoes. Everything was always delicious and affordable. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly.

I really enjoy Cheddar's, but this visit wasn’t the best, and it wasn’t our waitress’s fault. We were seated in a section by ourselves, and it took about five minutes for someone to come to our table. She apologized, explaining that she covers three different sections! She was hustling to keep up. The food was good overall, but unfortunately, my wife found a long brown hair in her soup. Additionally, her meal tasted like the oil in the deep fryer hadn’t been changed in a while. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my meal and love this place.

This Cheddars site never fails to bring her a game, but tonight they fell the ball. First we had to wait 15 minutes for a table that was a surprise, because at our arrival they were not busy. we sat and ordered our drinks. the ordered queen and chips as an appetizer, the queen was delicious, but lukewarm and the chips tasted. we had to ask for cutlery and got plastic utensils! we said they were made of silver. Really? what kind of restaurant has NO cutlery? we ordered both the ribeye, baked kartoffel and brokkoli and our meal was delicious! Obviously they are seriously understaffed, but propted on our server when she threw her ass away. I noticed several employees standing around and chatting. do not look good. we went with a full one I suspect is the desired result. this place has to iron out the folds so that it can return to the previous

Food was great the second time around after correcting our order.Service, not so great. Wasn’t our servers fault, though. Had the bartender serving the entire bar area including our booth and it took a while to get his attention and get our drink and food order in.Finally got our food 45 minutes after ordering and order was wrong. Our server did get replacements made quickly though, and brought us boxes and the check immediately since we were running low on time.Server did the best he could in his situation, but I think restaurant was understaffed that night.
