My server was Albert, and he was incredibly attentive, taking care of all our needs!
The highlight of our meal was the server bringing us two varieties of broth along with cold bread. My friend ordered the Victoria filet cooked medium, along with a loaded potato and a house salad. I opted for the steakhouse salad cooked medium as well. However, my friend’s filet was far from a proper filet—it was an overcooked, dry sirloin. The loaded potato was even worse; it was undercooked, cold, and lacked toppings. As for my steak on the salad, it was supposed to be medium but was almost well done. After we informed our server about these issues, he rearranged our meals, and the manager came by to apologize. My friend told the manager that my steak was like shoe leather. We were offered entirely new meals, but by that point, I had already finished most of my salad. Unfortunately, her replacement Victoria filet was still just a better-cooked sirloin, and the steak on my new steakhouse salad was still overcooked and far from acceptable. This experience aligns with visits to other Outback locations, and it’s safe to say that we won’t be returning to this chain in the future. My advice to Outback is to undergo some serious changes or risk becoming like Logan's, Ruby Tuesday's, and TGI Fridays, which have all closed down.
My burger had barely any toppings, just a few small bits. The glass dividers between the tables were quite dirty. I won’t be coming back.
