Red State BBQ - Lexington

We just tried this place because of a sign on I 75Fortunate choice! We both had the half slab of ribs with 2 sides.

I love a great diveWhen a location is on the side of a busy road with little around it and limited parking - it has the makings of a dive.

I've been here twice now, and nothing I've tried has disappointed.

I've eaten at Red State BBQ about 4 times over the past 10 years always had an excellent meal. A large menu with many choices, reasonably priced quick service. You order at the counter, so food is ready quickly. I was there for lunch yesterday (Saturday 7/27/24) it was very busy. Total time standing in line to order getting our food was only 10 minutes. It's an old building so don't expect a lot of atmosphere, but we came for the great food.

It’s an old small house, not much elbow room. It was too crowded at 2 pm on a Sunday. No disabled ramp or a handrail for handicapped people.
