Sec Sports Pub - Lexington

My experience at this restaurant was excellent. I had a fantastic steak, which might seem like a simple dish for any restaurant to get right, but that's often not the case. My steak was cooked to perfection, and they kindly prepared a half portion of another menu item for me (which I paid for) so I could try something extra. It's not in my usual dining area, but I'll gladly make a special trip just to enjoy another meal there.

Cajun bar food? Delicious!. I stopped in for lunch at The SEC around 1. There were 3 or 4 tables full, so it wan't too busy, but the place wasn't totally dead either. I was surprised to see several Cajun items on the menu, but apparently the owner is from Louisiana and wanted to use his own recipes. I ordered the chicken with creamy cajun sauce. It came out in about 10 minutes; the presentation was excellent! Diced red and green peppers over flat noodles with an orange cajun alfredo sauce, this was a very colorful dish. The food tasted as good as it looked too, and the portions are huge; hard as I tried, I could not finish my meal and had to get a box. I was very pleased with my visit and plan on returning in the near future to try their steak dishes, and perhaps one or two barley pops next time as well...

I encourage you to give them a fair chance before posting such negative reviews about their soft opening weekend.

Friendly folks, plenty of tvs to watch every game, great food and Bud Light on draft! One of my new favorite places!

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious pizza. The atmosphere was lively with a band performing and multiple screens for watching sports. The service was excellent, making it a great place to indulge in good food and drinks while having a fun time.
