Zim's Cafe - Lexington

We had a wonderful time dining outdoors for brunch. Our waitress was incredibly accommodating and even brought water for our service dog, which we really appreciated. The Mimosa Sunday special offered fantastic value. Both the Breakfast Burrito and Chicken Salad plate were delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious! There is a fantastic variety on the menu. The service was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend Zim's Cafe!

Our dinner entrees were really enjoyable—surprisingly so, in fact. There were plenty of options for the vegetarian in our group as well. However, the biggest letdown were the desserts. They were bland and quite tough. The S'mores bar was like a brick, and my friend couldn't finish it. I ordered the chocolate pecan bourbon pie, but it lacked flavor compared to similar desserts I've had at other places, and the crust was so hard that it was difficult to cut. Another friend had the strawberry cake, which he said was just average. If we go back in the future, we definitely won’t be spending extra on dessert.

It was my 2nd time eating and a 1st for my 2 girlfriends who enjoyed their meal!

Was disappointed that the table menu was not as extensive as the website menu. Went in knowing what I wanted but not available this Sunday. Seco d choice was exalent.
