I spent three nights at this property in a junior suite which was ok given the location. Breakfast was nice with good options. My issues were with the staff. Most of the front desk personnel were cold and vey matter of fact except for the Brazilian girl. I ate at the pub one night and was basically lied to and told tables require reservations because they didn’t want to seat a solo diner.
Excellent hotel. Great restaurant. Super friendly staff. Nice sauna. The junior suite is big enough for 2 with all the cold weather gear for 2 weeks. Great showers.
We were lucky to be relocated to this hotel. Right in the city centre, one restaurant, one pub and free sauna. Staff are all amazing and very friendly. The breakfast was magnificent considering where we are, the bed always comfy and the view from any window is breathtaking. Thanks
We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu in Longyearbyen. The hotel is located in a stunning setting, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the sea. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable, we got an upgrade, which was very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied, and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and a great view. The hotel is close to the town center, if you can call it that, and there are many activities and attractions nearby, such as dog sledding, hiking, and polar bear watching. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in the Arctic.
