The Butter chicken was as wonderdul as I remember! I ordered early in the day to deliver at a scheduled time in the evening and it worked out perfectly! Thank you so much!
I must have ordered this dish 100 times and its always very tasty, sizable and excellent. Tonights portion size though was so comically minuscule that I was pretty sure I was being pranked. Of the 3 full double lamb chops I received I was able to finish them and a total of six small bites; with less than 3oz of total meat. The portion size would not have passed muster for an appetizer portion in any other reputable establishment let alone a high priced entrée. Very disappointed that the restaurant sees this as a reasonable sized portion they can legitimately merchandise as an entrée. What a miss.
Overpriced and disappointing. All items were lacking in quality of taste, small size and strange spice combo.Samosa were burnt and small, no peas just strange mash. In past they were OK but must have new chef. For $30 there were a few pieces of beef in small container filled with gross grease and oil. No fennel or ginger as mentioned in the description.. Butter chicken did NOT taste good, did not have quality or fresh poultry. Broccoli nan was inedible like hard cardboard covered in bad spices. Lentil dishes are all oil and grease, too spicy, barely any lentil just horrible sauce. None of dishes come with nan or veggies. Wont be coming back
TLDR: trashy food rating 2/5, stingiest serving yet extremely inflated undeserving price minus 1/5. We ordered Aloo Gobi and Palak Paneer from Amber India . Both tasted extremely bland and had tiny portions. The palak paneer was not only bland, but also had a weird after taste. For $20, they gave us so few tiny cubes of paneer (I counted, fewer than ten 1cm^2 cubes in the entire serving). The aloo gobi is the worst I apos;ve ever had: so flavorless yet so greasy (literally a thick layer of oil floating on top of the sauce). It also had tiny portions. 1) Potatoes and cauliflowers are among the cheapest vegetables in the US. 2) The seasoning is too bad/flavorless for me to see any value in it. So seriously, help me understand what makes this dish so expensive and deserving $20? Neither dishes came with rice or naan, which was shocking given how expensive they are. We had to pay extra $5+ to get the garlic basil naan, which was mediocre but at least better than the main dishes. However, for $5.75, they gave us one naan cut into four pieces, which is an epitome of how stingy this restaurant is. This is probably the worst Indian food I apos;ve ever had in the US, yet the most expensive and with the stingiest serving.
Delicious food. All we ordered was good. Only thing is they dont provide rice with your meal which I find frustrating. It would be a better value if they could at least provide the rice, which they do at most other restaurants. Overall I do recommend.
