Al Gelato Continental Desserts

Al Gelato offers delicious salads, pizzas, and fantastic desserts. The portion sizes are quite generous. It appears that they incorporate a sweetener in many of their recipes, which can be a hit or miss. The overall quality of the food is very good. While there are plenty of staff members for the number of customers, it can sometimes be challenging to get someone's attention if you need anything after your meal is served. It's great to see the staff getting along well, but they do seem to spend a bit too much time chatting rather than focusing on their work. However, the gelato is exceptional!

I discovered this charming little spot through Yelp, and I'm so happy I did! Being dairy allergic, finding good sorbet can often be a challenge, but Al Gelato has some of the finest options around, including a chocolate flavor that's as rich and delightful as traditional chocolate ice cream. I appreciate that this place stays open late, allowing me to stop by for a couple of scoops after catching a show in the LA area. I usually prefer to enjoy my sorbet inside, but they also offer takeout. There are several tables available since it operates as a restaurant as well. Overall, it’s an adorable place to visit, especially if you’re craving delicious sorbet or gelato. The late hours are definitely a great perk!

I absolutely love the pizza—the sweet sauce, the bread, and the desserts are all fantastic, and the service is always friendly. This place really offers the best of Italian American cuisine, especially the delicious gelato. I haven't visited in a while since it’s a bit out of the way and parking can be tricky, but I used to go frequently. When I finally tasted the food again, I was reminded of how much I enjoyed it; it gave me a wonderful feeling of being back at home!

I love coming here and enjoying a shot of espresso and a nice single scoop of gelato. Try the coconut and Italian wedding cookie both are great. The food is okay too, but the gelato is tops.

Really nice lunch here. The Marainera sauce is wonderful. A delightful place to stop and the atmosphere is pleasant and the waitstaff has a good disposotion. Enjoy.
