The food was excessively salty, the prices were steep, and the portions were small. While the service was friendly, there wasn't any follow-up to check on us.

The food was great and the servers were very attentive. The restaurant was extremely loud so it was hard to have a conversation without yelling. I would go back because the food was really good.

Very disorganized. Long wait even with reservations. Good food. Not excellent.

I have been there once before a long time ago and I remember it was quite good. It was no less so last night. Will return again and again.

However, something changed abruptly. Less than an hour later, I noticed that the staff seemed to disappear, and the vibe shifted. I mentioned this to my friend, who thought I was being paranoid, but it felt off. When I tried to order more, a gentleman nearby informed me that they could “make it happen” if we wanted something else. It was a bit awkward. I was pushed to order two dishes that didn’t really interest me: butter chicken and another item. I had been looking forward to this visit, having studied the menu at the recommendation of one of my chefs, and I was hoping for an adventurous experience since I'm only in the city for a few days. What we ultimately ordered was fantastic, but I was confused that within just 45 minutes of my reservation, the place seemed to close down without any notice about when to order or the usual expectations of restaurant service. I also wasn’t keen on staying just for our sake. I later learned that renovations were starting, which explained why they closed early. Although they offered drinks and a portion of the meal on the house, which seemed more like an afterthought, it didn’t align with the experience I had hoped for. My 8:30 reservation shouldn't have been accepted under those circumstances. I plan to return once the renovations are complete because the food I had was truly excellent. I just hope the overall service improves to match the quality of the food.
