Found Oyster - Los Angeles

The tostada was amazing. Oysters were okay, nothing spectacular. Suggest the frites to any meal. The seating is very limited and tight.

I was so happy to find this cute seafood mecca near kaiser. the food is excellent and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. the food is a little pricey under the a la carte small plates model, but it is most certainly worth it.

Generally recommendI came here again since I last reviewed it and thought the scallop tostada, which had been my favorite dish when I first came, had too much apple sauce in it. The scallops themselves had great texture but you couldn’t taste much because the sauce was so prominent…We also got the Lobster Roll this second time. It was pretty good, but won’t necessarily come back for it.Lastly, the first time I came, on the weekend, I had to wait an hour to be seated. The second time, which was in the middle of the day, we sat down right away.

First and foremost, let me tell you that the Found Oyster is worth the wait. This quaint yet high energy restaurant is a 5/5.Their customer service from start to finish is impeccable even with the busyness. The environment is great for people watching and food watching as well...We were there on Table 21 at 6:05 pm 9/16/23 right before the Michele Wolf show. We told our server that we would need to be out of there within 40 45 minutes and he got us there.The food was exceptionally made.We started our meal off with the Scallop Tostada which was divine. It has the most interesting sauce on it light and refreshing.We weren't sure what the Wedge Salad would taste like, but it was talked about highly in the reviews and a few passed by us when we were waiting. It was delicious. The Stilton cheese along with the bacon bits and the crisp in the lettuce were surprisingly unforgettably delicious.The last 2 items we had were the Fried oysters that were amazing ? and the Lobster Bisque Roll. They definitely were great closer to the meal and we made it just in time to leave for our show.We will be back for one of those platters next time. Please check this small and worthy seafood restaurant out. It's so awesome.Promise you won't be disappointed.

Wow, this place blew me away. Amazing food, atmosphere, service and music. Every single dish rocked. The oysters are amazing as is the crudo. Wines by the glass were excellent. Parking is the only negative. Gotta get lucky or walk a bit. Can't wait to return.Parking: challenging, need to find something on the street
