If you are looking to experience fine Mexican cuisine, Javier's is a great choice. Food: I have been to this Javier's several times, however, am sharing pictures from my visit in September 2023. I highly recommend ordering the fresh guacamole to compliment either the fresh chips and salsa or your entree. The Fajitas de Carne or Steak Picado are great choices perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served with rice, refried beans, sour cream and either corn/flour tortillas you will be completely satisfied and may even have leftovers. Service: Kimberly, the hostess, was kind, courteous and professional, and so were the servers and bus staff. Parking: This location is in the mall, and there are two options for parking. Valet is conveniently one floor below and super close to Javier's. If you don't mind walking through the mall, then you can park in the parking garage. Javier's experience inspired Mexican specialties are created with the highest quality seafood, beef, pork and chicken as well as gourmet vegetarian offerings and you can taste it in every bite. I highly recommend this location and staff!
Amidst the festive ambiance of Javier's in Century City, our dining experience was nothing short of delightful. The holiday spirit enveloped the air, with groups reveling in the joy of the season, ugly sweaters and all. The restaurant buzzed, creating a lively atmosphere that complemented the warmth of the occasion. Our group settled on a few items including the Arrachera steak, a succulent marvel that showcased the restaurant’s expertise in grilling. Each bite was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The papas fritas were light and crispy, and the sauce that companied the steak was a delicious palate cleanser. The Enchiladas Poblanas followed suit, bathed in a delightful mole sauce that danced on the palate, a testament to Javier's cuisine. It’s not easy to get mole right and they do a wonderful job. For our little one, the chicken taquitos provided a delightful treat. Crispy, full of seasoned shredded chicken, and just enough to share. Our taste buds were further indulged with several desserts that were democratically chosen by the table, most notably the child at the table. We started with the Pan de Elote, a warm and savory dessert that captured the essence of what a warm corn cake should taste like. The subtle sweetness and comforting texture made it a perfect conclusion to our savory feast. Additionally, the Flan left a lasting impression with its rich, baked custardy taste. The thickness and creaminess of the flan were a testament to the chef's dedication to crafting desserts that elevate the evening’s experience. In summary, Javier's in Century City immersed us in a holiday celebration that will be etched in our memories. The impeccable service and culinary craftsmanship showcased in each dish make it a destination worth revisiting, whether in the festive season or any time one craves an authentic Mexican culinary experience.
Good food excellent service expensive for what you get but not different than anywhere else. We spent over $1000 at the table and they didn't even validate a couple of parking tickets..
The food was good. However, I have to rate Javier's 5 stars simply due to our waitress being outstanding. Also, the supporting staff was just as friendly and attentive. I'd go back to try the food again because the service was excellent.
Not just any Mexican restaurant, very upscale and classy place. Love the vibes- incredible food and atmosphere!
