I ordered chicken tikka masala and shrimp vindaloo.. would have been nice if they explained that both are tomato base .. i should’ve gotten the chicken curry instead. The garlic naan samosas were delicious . It’s authentic curry .. no ambiance brought our own beer
Definitely not worth the walk from the OMNI on Grand. Food a bit spicy as requested but had no taste whatsoever. Quite bland. No beer, which was annoying. One could purchase and bring, but not knowing the area didn 't know where to purchase. Said they were dropping OpenTable site, but I 'd drop them gladly. Extremely disappointed. It was just a pair of walls place, a nothing place.
This restaurant is in the most unlikely location next door to a car wash and across the street from L.A. Live. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but food quality and service are great. If you're looking for an alternative to the much pricier restaurants in the area, Mr. Masala is the place to go.
