The roti has no butter and not cooked properly. When I told the staff to check if order is ready, the owner rudely said you have to wait. After I explained her that I have been waiting for 45 mins already, she didn't lower her tone rather cut me off midway.
Excellent Indian food, reasonably priced. We had lamb samosas, pappadam, butter chicken, cheese naan and sesame naan and we loved it all. I had the butter chicken “medium” and my wife had it “mild.” The “medium” was flavorful but definitely not too spicy. We had never had cheese naan (it was stuffed with mozzarella and was similar in size and thickness to a pizza). We will go back.
The butter chicken I tried was on point. I asked for medium heat which is all I could handle. The combo option came with lentil soup, a side of basmati rice and a generous portion of plain naan. Finished with a small serving of rice pudding, the meal was delicious and satisfying. Price point worthy! I definitely would return.Vegetarian options: They have non meat menu items.Parking: Parking can be hard to come by during the dinner rush.
Good Indian food in downtown LA. Ordered takeout, though looked like they had a large (mostly empty) space. Several vegan and vegetarian options. The Chana masala I got was tasty, though didn’t like that they charged extra for rice (as that’s typically standard for Indian food).
Samosa filling was so bland with just potatoes and some peas and had no flavor at all. Matar paneer was good but their tandoori platter was such a disaster with no any flavor and it was just dry and chewy.Food: 1/5
