The Hayashi rice with Calpico was superb. Service was on point and staff were amicable.

So sad that this location is closing. Their landlord (as is the case with all landlords) is deplorable scum.

Good spot in Little Tokyo for Japanese food. Happy hour is great, too!!

Love Suèhiro (soo eh hee roh), the Denny 's of Little Tōkyō in DTLA. Down home, unpretentious, it stays open until 1am and 3am on Fridays Saturdays. It 's affordable, comfort Japanese food, not highend dining. Their Okonomi/ likable plate is my favorite. You chose one from 3 groups. I like TonkAtsu, Panko breaded, fried pork; Gyōza, pan fried pork dumplIngs; Ohitashi/blanched, bright green spinach for vegetal, good health. Haku Tsuru Sakè or Orion beer from Okinawa to clear the palate and all is well.

Loved this place! I got the hamburg steak, mashed potatoes, and green tea ice cream. All were excellent. The staff there were so friendly it made the experience even better. Definitely stop by!
