The Guest House - Los Angeles

Cute restaurant with great atmosphere. I wish would have had more time to try different items on the menu, but we had to run in a hurry. I really enjoyed the French toasts though! Will go back!

This was a wonderful experience! We started off with a drink at the bar and were seated as soon as our table was ready. We chose to sit outside under one of the large umbrellas, which was quite nice since the weather was perfect. The food and drinks were excellent. I highly recommend the salmon Benedict; I could enjoy that every morning! My girlfriend ordered the chicken and waffles but was frustrated because she had to work hard to strip the meat from the wings. It was a bit too much effort.

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's so rustic, with a beautifully designed seating area. I visited for coffee and dessert, but they also serve complete lunch and dinner options. I will definitely return to explore their food menu. We ordered the French toast with a scoop of ice cream, and it was delicious!

Tip: Request the Tamarind Margarita with a spicy twist—it's the ideal blend of sweetness with a bit of heat!

As choices to eat out go up and down due to Covid regulations, chose The Guest House based on it provided outdoor seating. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are generous. Ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and added the breakfast potatoes as a side not knowing the size of the breakfast sandwich. Breakfast was over the top. Picture shown, needless to say, I could finish the side of potatoes. I will definitely return.
