Togo's Sandwiches - Los Angeles

I had a fantastic sub during my first visit to the restaurant. I really enjoyed my sandwich – it was absolutely delicious!

The food was delicious and freshly made. The owner made a few rounds and engaged with guests, which was a nice touch. The staff was also very friendly.

Incredible sandwiches! The signature offering here is The Godfather, featuring homemade bread and a delicious combination of capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, ham, salami, and provolone. It's truly fantastic—definitely ranks among the top four or five sandwiches I've had in Los Angeles, CA.

My mother, brother, and I decided to grab a quick bite on Saturday, November 9, 2019, while my other brother was having a minor procedure at the hospital next door. Unfortunately, the woman who took and served our orders was quite rude. However, the gentleman who was also working there, whose name I believe was Martine or Martin, was fantastic! He went above and beyond to ensure we received excellent service. Several times, he glanced at the woman, seemingly urging her to improve her demeanor, although he didn’t say anything to her directly. I would rate her a 1 star, but I would give him a 5, which averages out to a 3. On a positive note, the restaurant itself was very clean, the bathroom was pristine and well-stocked, and the sandwiches were fresh. Despite the rude attitude and service from the one staff member, we overall had a great experience.

The food is surprisingly good for a hospital cafeteria. It tastes fresh and is definitely better than most sandwich chains, offering great value for the portion sizes. The staff, two friendly ladies, were very attentive as well. I would definitely return if I’m in the mood for a sandwich, haha!
