We split the three curry thali with malai kofta, ennai kathirikai, and Amritsari chole. I've tried every curry on the menu and I think these are the best, with the Malai kofta in particular standing out. The biryani is very good also. The chaats (I haven't tried all of them) are hit or miss; some of them are way too sweet for me. If you know what to order, Tulsi is one of the best lunch deals and among the few good Indian places in DTLA. Also check out their Westwood Village location if you are near UCLA. They have a very spacious restaurant and a cute robot server
This is a decent no frills restaurant. The food was not bad, but I wasn 't impressed either. A bit too fried and fat for my taste, especially the dosa. Sitting inside, the atmosphere is okay, but not exactly nice.
Great food and quick service! The dosa was superb and had the distinct aroma of ghee! Pav bhaji was also very tasty!
I picked up my pani puri from here for the first time.. It cost 8 taxThe pani puri Was worst so far.According to taste and quantity.I dont know what about the other food though. I will come back to taste other food as well soon.
Holy moly, we were so impressed. The portion of dosa was HUGE. Very tasty. I'd recommend the Tulsi special, and the buttermilk dosa.
